| Post subject: | Putting Nitrous on My Slant....Need Help |
Well I am taking the advice of the professor and putting a 150 shot of Nitrous. I am just a little worried about the durability and consistancy of nitrous. Has anyone else tried this, can you give me some advice so that I don't blow my engine on the first run? I am planning on putting a full throttle micro switch on so that I don't have to worry about a button, but what about traction, won't I break loose if I slam the throttle of the starting line? Thanks for your advice, this site is the best!!!!! D.J. 67 Cuda Slant Six Powered |

I have not used nitrous, but my advice would be to jet it for less hp in the beginning, and work your way up. Maybe put in sone 75hp jets first? |

One thing I was told to do was to arm the system leave the bottle off, and make sure the engine boggs for a second to know you have fuel. Then turn on the nos bottle. |
