This may be a dumb question, but is there any reason why I can't leave the rear pulley off (the one behind the harmonic balancer)? I don't have A/C and don't need the pulley. I assume it won't affect the balance, but I don't know if it's used to keep dirt away from the front seal or if it serves another purpose. Thanks! Steve |

If you don't need it to drive anything, there is no reason you can't take it off. |
