what causes this? I thought it was to much inital timing but mine is at 2* after TDC. suggestions? |

A messed up choke will also cause it to backfire through the carb when cold. |

could be messed timing... jumped chain... hope this is only my ugly imagination. 180° out too (one wire with its opposite, say 1-6 or 5-3 or 2-4) |
