Thank you very much!!! And I have a new question: When I step into the accelerator smoothly the shifts are too long and to make them go fast I must step into the accelerator like a quarter or so, this way the shifts go faster. But, this makes me have no kick down. If I step the accelerator to the floor I don’t have kick down. ¿What could be causing this? ¿Could this be the torque converter? ¿Could this be the valve body? Thanks! |

Maybe adjust the kickdown linkage? Or if you had the valvebody in pieces, maybe the pressure regulator was adjusted wrong? |

try to adjust the kickdown linkage and see if it's moving along with the throttle lever. This may be cause 1. Cause 2 may be the valvlebody assembled wrong (but this would cause a lot more trobubles that you'd notice) Also take a look underneath the car , check if kickdown lever that goes to the kickdown shaft is tight and moving free or the lever is moving but the shaft ain't. above the kickdown-shifter levers is the main pressure adjustment screw, it has a counterlocking nut, try to turn it 2 or 3 turns clockwise and see what happens. |
