I have a friend that has offered to give me a slant six head that he believes is from a 68 engine. I read Doug's nice article on the differences between the 60-67 vs 68-up heads and the changes in the combustion chamber. In looking for the half moon, dime-sized mark opposite the spark plug, I see none in these pics. I think this is the right head, but I wanted to be sure. I'm stil trying to get the number from the head from him. Here are some pics:     Thanks in advance! MJ |
