The KD adjuster is the one on the side of the trans above the shift linkage. Loosen the locknut, tighten the screw a good finger tight and back it out 1-1/2 turns. Tighten the locknut and you're done.

There is no such thing as a kickdown "band". Do you mean the kickdown linkage, or the intermediate or low/reverse band? You asked a very similar question just yesterday, did it not give you the answers you wanted? |

Hey, Step. The question yesterday, was about the kickdown linkage. While "kickdown" band may not be technicly correct, it is a common usage, for the intermediate, or 2nd gear band. |

So it is! I looked in my 77 Chrysler manual and there it was. Why do they call it the kickdown band? |
