Cuz I notice when I gas it hard from a stop and at the same time turning the tire will seem to go bumpa-bumpa-bump and slip befor it grips. Also when I had the rear end jacked when I turn the left wheel the right one rotated in the same direction and speed. Is this posi? If it is posi is it normal behavior for posi? I have always owed limited slip Chevies before so I know littel of "posi". |

NO! it is a sure grip That is even better than a posi, as you don´t have to drag that chevy around... |

Could be a suregrip and it could be screwed up spider gears. Which do you want? Which is more likely? I like the term " gas it hard"... sounds like cheap porn...or beans and beer. |

A working sure-grip should leave TWO black marks, an open rear end leaves one If you jack it up and rotate one wheel (trans in NEUTRAL) and the other wheel rotates the same way, then its probably an SG... but if it only leaves one black mark its worn-out. If you jack it up (trans in neutral) and you turn one wheel forward and the other spins backward or doesn't turn at all, its an open rear end. |

I've smoked down both skins in an open rear car with a big-block many times. The thing is, the right one starts spinning faster after a short distance, and the left slows down to vehicle forward speed. So, the right rear will inevitably out-peel the left. D/W |
