Excellent day at the Farm.

16 cars showed up with one broke before the 1st rd. No more breakage after that.

I was happy to make the semis, but broke out by 0.01 against Ron P - shoulda let off!! Saw some new repeat racers like Derrick Daurity in his D50 and Sixinthehead with his 5spd/170 64 V100.

Project Vs best day so far with 4 round wins in a row (2 in FB class) and 10.56 @66.5MPH fastest yet (near stock motor). Had mostly good lights, and my first perfect 0.000!

Never can tell, now can ya?

I'm taking my junk out to a track rental this Saturday. We'll have to see if I have anything left. A local public access show will be there filming. Nitrous explosions look way cool on TV don't they?

My favorite was when Barry H had a nawz explosion at the 60 ft mark, Dale Rose in the other lane let off, but Barry stayed in it to win the round. Mwuuuhhahaahahahahaaaaah

This was our weekend and the force was with us. We caint cut a light to save our butt. We caint get on the bulb either red or big green. First round i draw Gary Bruner and his car woint start and i get a break pass.
Second round Leighton Drake tough race he kills me on the tree but breaks out. I win by 3 thounsands of a second.
Third round Lou Dart 270 I had to do some homework and it almost blew up in my face. Lou is tough and all the racers are that way.
I do not take any racer who i have to race as a easy race .cant do that so every body who i race can beat you are lose to you.
Final Ron And Rodney we have raced each other many times and Rodney has got me more than i have got him. I asked Rodney what he was going to dial his car and he told me 8.01 so i said lets do it again this year like last year. Heads up Both reactions times are 026 we go down the track side by side i run a 8.025 and Rodney runs a 8.042 This was my best reaction time of the weekend.
Great weekend Thanks To Tom Drake And The Piedmont MOPAR club

Congratulations Ron! It sounds like some really good racing went on. That's awesome that you were able to turn that bracket race final into a heads up race. Wow! Identical reaction times and everything. That must have been a race to see. Footbrake Racers Rule!

Just wanted to say what a great time I had on Saturday.

I'm getting a little better each time and actually had a close run with Rodney - he ran .03 over his dial to my .04.

I'm looking forward to NW in the summer with my little blue Valiant (which is a 65 despite the grille :) ).

Let's keep up the support!

BTW, Tom, let us know what happens with Piedmont, ya' hear?

I have not heard anything yet but it does sound promising. I will post something as soon as I know anything.

I glad you made it and I wish I had a little more time to look your ride over. Hope to see you in Bristol. It is a three day show and I do not have to do quite so much work.
