I had a really great picture of a slant/6 with a blower on it on my computer. Well the computer died from a virus and I lost the picture. My recollection is that it was a black and white shot with a 671 type blower on it shot from the front of the engine. Anybody got a copy they might share?

Wow that's a cool site! Ironically I was thinking the other day how cool it would be to see an old rod like that with a slant in it...

Robert does have the roaster, running and on the road. I have seen the car in person, and it was built in the style of the 1940's and 1950's. Everything is home built. He comes on this site once in a while.

Any idea what that blower is off of? A T-Bird SC?

i guess you would have to have a lift-off hood with a big cowl induction.

It looks like a GM Eaton M62. The problem with a drawthru carb setup is that the rear rotor bearings are not sealed. The gas washes out the grease, and bye bye bearings. Also if this blower has the teflon coating on the rotors, the raw fuel will eventually eat that away.

You also have a combustible mixture in the supercharger...one mis-fire and BOOOM.

Heres another pic of it. Try to ignore my brothers head in the picture ! lol

I dont think the guy ran the car, not as far as I know anyway. It had no hood on it and i dont know how you could have one. I believe its a 64 or 65 dart.
