Hello again! I am still in the process of re-building my 71' gold duster and recently bought a super six intake to replace my one barrel manifold. Question is what else needs to be taken into account to make this work? I know i will need a kickdown linkage system and a holley carb. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Billy

You didn't mention what you are doing about the choke. You could purchase a new replacement for a super six and solve that problem for about $35. If the carb you get came from a six, it will be easy, if it came off an 8, you'll have to do the choke linkage mod shown in the article listed above.

Don't buy cheap manifold gaskets, they arn't worth it, since you'll eventually have to replace them anyway to stop all the leaks.
