I've got a few questions here. First, I was wondering if anybody has ever tried a 450 cfm holley on a /6? I am currently running a 390. There are always cheap used 450s on ebay. Second, where can I get a windage tray from?, And finally, I just got a new set of Sealed Power .030 cast pistons, and was wondering if they would hold up to a 100 hp. shot of juice. What about stock rod bolts, will they be strong enough or should I go with a set of ARPs? Any help is greatly appreciated!

There will be virtually no difference between a 390 and a 450 Holley.

The only current source for trays is Mike Jeffrey, and he does not make any more until January or so. 308/324-3576.

Yes, cast pistons will hold up to 100 shot IF your tune-up is good. Lean it out or detonate it and you will eat a piston for sure. Of course, if you do that to a forged piston you'll eat it too.

ARP rod are cheap insurance.
