O.K.,
Just purchased the Offy. dual singles manifold. My question is: Can I use the single from a 70 truck motor that had a manual tranny as the second carb? The set-up is going on my motor from a 68 Dart 225/904. If not, what do I need to look for? Thanks!! :D

You really need to have identically-matched carbs on any multiple-carb setup. There's enough difference in internal calibrations and sizing even among the many, many car variants of the BBS...differences are even larger between car and truck variants. Mismatched front + rear carbs will allow the car to start, run and drive, but it will cost you a considerable amount of performance and fuel economy since you will wind up fruitlessly chasing weird driveability/performance problems caused by the mismatched calibration.

And I'm not just saying this because I have a matched pair of brand new, not rebuilt 1bbl carbs for sale ;-)

Like Dan said, you really need to start off with 2 identically calibrated carbs or you might end up chasing unexplained problems.
