I desperately need to know the main and rod bearing clearance specs for a 225, my Detroit Iron disc wont work, I spilled beer on it. |

Clearance Desired: .0005" to .002"Maximum Allowable: .0025" (From Service Manual) but I'd bet you would get by just fine all the way to .003" D/W |

What are the torque specs for the mains, rods and head?? I'm trying to get this thing together quickly so I can go out of town for a funeral and I don't want to leave it apart while I'm gone. Thanks, mike |
