It was in the "help!" section. Part # is 56358 (heater hose fitting) for anyone interested.

Can I get a new connector for the heater hose to the valve head? I'm talking about the upper one that screws in (next to the temp sending switch). I have one in the old head, but I don't know if I can get it out. Is there a special tool for it? Thanks |

I've seen them in the help section @ kragen (aka checker, partsamerica, etc) so anyone that carries help or dorman line is bound to have them or can order. Aren't they just ordinary barbs? you may be able to use hardware store items if its pipe thread. I doubt you can get it out of the head, its probably baked in there good - especially if its never been off before and coolant got rusty. |
