I have seen more than once about save the broken exhaust for Dutra's for a core? Is there a core charge for Dutra's? I thought they were a completely new cast unit consisting of a front & back unit? If you need cores --where can they be sent--- Thanks |

I'll let Doug answer the "where sent" question, but only the front-3 casting is new with Dutra Duals. The rear-3 is a modified (cut 'n' capped) stock manifold. |

| Post subject: | Dutra? |
Ok, so I meant I wanted to use a "Dual Dutra" manifold setup when I replied to the hot street motor thread. It just seems like there could be a significant difference in back pressure between the three front cylinders and the back ones. Besides, I live in South Texas, and don't figure I'll need exhaust manifold heat (and the hyper pack intake doesn't have provision for it anyway). |
