should all slants have an oil slinger?? I opened one up yesterday that didnot have one - it was a low mileage engine - 27,000 But maybe someelse was in there?? Thanks, Greg. |

Thanks charlie, Probably just a quality control issue - This engine is also out of an auto car but has the pilot bushing installed! Greg |

The slinger was discontinued in the early '70s when the front seal was redesigned. |
