450 lbs is a good number to use.
25 lbs less if you use an alm. intake and accesories.

Doug, no way the stock intake is more than about 12-15lbs. heavier than an alloy version.

Dressed out with manifolds, flywheel, carb and accessories I'll bet the total installed weight of a 225 comes close to 550lbs. It's a bit of a pig but that's the price of rugged reliability.
