Car Model:
i want as many as possible...
here's what i have to work with...
1971 225 stock all original
i believe the carb was rebuilt in 91-94 (can't quite read the sticker)
A904 3 spd. auto tranny
7 1/4" rear *i am 90% sure*

she runs great, starts great...
but she ain't too impressive off the line

what i want:
a daily driver that will have some fun eating rice burners and seeing a little track time.
i want to do some drag but mostly just impressing the ladies at the local stoplight. after college this car will be garaged and turned into an exclusive dragster

my ideas so far:
bye bye rearend- i'm thinking 8 1/4. as far as i've learned the biggest bang for the buck is lower gears. i want and 8.25 sure grip at about 3.55 ratio

don't know much about torque converters (ideas?)
as far as the engine goes;
i want to rebuild it completely- she's tired and needs some pep

ideas are:
.030 over (maybe .060 but i'm reluctant)
.100 off the head
oversize valves(?)-mixed feelings
264 or maybe 268 cam
4bbl
offy, clifford, or maybe a hyperpak (opinions and price quotes?)
clifford headers (like dutras, but i like the decreased weight too)
high flow oil pump
lighter starter, more powerful alternator

haven't given too much thought to suspension
my only ideas were to replace with newer aftermarket parts

everything else i need some ideas on...
i'm contemplating on the pain job because the paint is original (mopar green- beautiful :? )
any other ideas?
keep them flowing
this will be a work in progress until this summer when i'll be doing the bulk of the project
