Does anyone know the size of the bolt that would screw into the crankshaft so you can install the harmonic balancer?? This is on an 81 slant. Thanks

It is 3/4 inch diameter fine thread 1 1/4 inch long. There is a thick washer
also about 1/4 inch thick. I used a clevite kit for a mopar SB.

The 1 1/4 bolt would not quite pick up the threads, since my balancer would not slide onto the crank at all. I got a stack of washers and 2
longer (1 1/2 and 2 1/2 inch) bolts to help put mine on.

I found later I had to remove the bolt to run my 61 170 motor.
The stock 4 blade fan damn near scraps the front of the pulley.
Not even enough room for the bolt head to clear the fan blades.
