Anybody ever play around with a setup like this? I have a Lynx manifold, and have a Weber 48 on the way... a used unit that was pulled from a running car.
This is eventually going in my '64. Nothing much beyond stock there... Will be doing some very mild head work/gasket matching and a fresh valve job, headers, and the stock auto 904... will have to fab up a bracket for a Lokar kickdown cable.
I'm waiting to hear from the person I bought the carb from as to what jets & tubes are installed. I think the carb came off an Austin 3000 but I know nothing about those engines.
What would be the best starting point for jets/emulsion tubes for a slant? I know Webers have a good reputation for reliability & tunability, but I don't have a good rep for knowing how to tune any carb!
Any info would be a really big help! Thanks!
