Your not going to find a stock vehicle with adjustable efi regulator - by the time efi came out pollution control was in full force - heck your lucky to find a stock throttle body with adjustable idle speed let alone fuel pressure

Summit has a few different adjustable ones. I got mine from www.apeusa.com - its fancier, made of billiet aluminum and has a port for pressure gauge and removable fittings for whatever size you want. Costly, but the last regulator I'll ever need.

if that is the case pierre, what kind of valve is a fuel regulator? i wonder if i can find one that is not necessarily automotive related. i found a bunch of good fuel pressure gages that are only 6-10 bucks instead of $30 because they're not auto related. thanks

They're similar to a relief valve, but most industrial relief valves you'll see are heavier than a normal regulator and cost more.

I'm just using a regulator off a Datsun 280ZX. It isn't adjustable, but it is relatively easy to install.

They are more or less all the same thing - that shows you a breakdown. The variences include capacity flow or port size and some don't have a manifold vaccum reference port (which is something you'd want anyway to drop pressrue at idle)

The one I got was close to $100... summit has similar units made out of stamped steel adjustable, boost referenced, for less then half the cost. Other then fanciness, the only downside to those is that you can't rebuild them.
