http://www.225.ca/tech/jstk001.htm This is a great little article dealing with the use of aftermarket carbs on the slant. Josh Skinner (of Zebra Dart fame) wrote it a few years back but it is still good info ad is a great article for people to read if they are considering upgrading or modifying their factory carburetor system. I say this should be added to the articles page if it can be done. |

Josh shouldn't mind, he sold all his stuff and supposedly was moving away from Portland...I seem to remember he also got tired of grenading slants in his dart while racing and went decided on being a small block guy. -D.Idiot |

I don't mind at all if the article is used here, but I would like to revise it a little. Like most people I've learned a few things in the years since I've written that and would like to correct and update the article. Yes, I sold my slant 6 stuff after breaking a rod in the road racing '66 Dart. I raced the car for a while with a V8 and at the beginning of 2005 sold the car to David Mapes in College Park, MD. ![]() Don't worry, I still have Mopar projects. The current street car project is a '72 Swinger. Sorry I don't have a picture of the full car. That's a '78 E58 360 and a too small B&M PowerCharger, BTW.
