I need a new choke pull-off and floats for the BBS in my '64 Valiant (225/904). Does anyone have the part numbers of such, to make it easier on the parts counter guys? |

Only one float in that carburetor (it's a "pontoon" style). Looks like it may no longer be available through parts store channels. The '64 choke pulloff has been N/A for years; the '65-up style fits and works fine. |

Yeah, I know, it's a one-piece affair with two pods - just looked at it last night. I evidently see better than I type! |

It's a brass float, what can be the matter with it? Pinholes can be soldered shut.... |

Pinholes from corrosion, erosion, or whatever are like mice. If you see one, you have more. I've soldered pinholes in floats before - no big deal, and I'll likely do that to this one before I can find a new one. I just don't want to keep patching. |
