Hey, New to group, would like to introduce myself. My name is mike and I'm from southern az. I currently have 3 early A body cars. One is a 63 dart gt with a 225, its #1 of 19. The second one is a 64 val sig 200, This one is my sons, has a slant with clifford headers 2bbl super six. After reading some of the threads it looks like I have to do some re-engineering on the kickdown linkage setup. Any suggestions so I don't have to reinvent the wheel on this would be helpful. The last car is my daily driver and that is a 65 barracuda with a 273. Bought it from the original owner 5 years ago. I have been a Mopar fan since I was a kid many moons ago. Now I have the time to finish these three projects and enjoy them. Thanks for the help Mike |

mike- welcome to the site and thanks for the introduction! you'll find many members of the board to be very helpful and friendly. i'm sure if you searched the archives you could spend hours reviewing super six setups that guys have built. it's been 10 years or so since i've played with one, but i'm thinking you have a couple of routes you can take here. either find a complete linkage from a donor car and adapt it, or look around for a streetrod solution cable (lokar, etc.) at any rate, you'd be better off posting your question in the engine section. some guys only read certain portions of the board and may never get to see it. once again, welcome! -james |
