| Post subject: | hydraulic to solid lifter cam change |
I am changing from a hydraulic to solid cam soon in my 84 daily driver pickup. Just wanting to make sure that beyond the obvious rocker arm change, there is nothing major I need to do. I am changing springs, timing chain/gears, and of course lifters. I am aware that ya need to do machine work to use a hyd. cam in a solid lifter block. If there are any passages or anything I need to block, or open up, now is the time to find out....not learn the hard way!! Any info much appreciated. Thanks! Bill |

Just use the complete solid valve train. Cam. lifters, pushrods, rocker arms and shaft. |
