While digging through the last few remaining parts in the storage crate, I found a triangle-shaped pressed metal shield with an attached fiber gasket. I know it goes somewhere under the front frame rail, but even using the four bolt holes for landmarks, I can't seem to figure out where this shield goes.

Anyone have an idea?

...goes under the frame rail, driver's side, aft of the front wheel, over the steering linkage.
