Had the head off to correct for a failed valve seat due to recession. Machined head and installed a new valve and seat and had some additional minor work done as well. 50K high speed highway miles later, decided to pull cover and adjust valvetrain. Good news: all valves were a little loose. This means no seat recession! 200K on 1980 slant and running strong as ever. Lash was off an average of 0.002.
