Had a modified stock manifold with a Holley 4 bl. with primaries
perpendicular (sideways).
Now have an Offenhauser where the 390 will face forward (like a
normal V-8 ).
My slant 6 stock throttle cable is too long.
Can I get a small block V-8 A body cable from the junkyd.
to work with this carb?

Just put a loop or bend in your stock line.

Get a cable off of a Super Six F-body if you go junkyarding. Or, just order a Lokar cable and be done with it.
