Post subject:  Mopar Carter AFB's

I would like to know if there were any Carter AFB's made in the 400CFM range that have Mopar throttle linkages and if so would you have the listing numbers for the carburetor. I would like to do a conversion on my Slant and would rather keep a Mopar setup if possible. I've queried several search engines on the internet and have not have any luck finding a number, any help will be appreciated.

Yes. I posted a list somewhere a long time ago. I run a 4294S on my Duster. @ approx. 400 CFM, 273 4-speed is the original application for it.

Thanks for the link and do you like your setup?

Wouldn't have kept it like that for so many years if I didn't! I went against my better judgement when I first decided to go from 2 to 4 barrels; I tried the 390 holley thing for a while, that was a constant headache. Driveability, tunability and raw performance were all improved by going to the AFB.

Thanks for the infos, I too tend to lean towards the AFB for an everyday driver.
