I have a 68 dodge dart. I had to get a new engine in it, wich came from a 74 duster...I was wondering how I tell if it's the 225, or the 170. the guy I bought it from told me it was the 225, but I wanted to make sure before I bought a new radiator (old one has a hole..yay)

also what the heck letter classis my dart?

Darts are A-bodies.

Your Dart is an A-body, and the engine you got from the '74 Duster is almost certainly a 225 (the only other slant-6 offered in '74 was the 198, and very few of those were installed). Check the engine ID numbers stamped on a flat machined surface at the top of the block, directly below the frontmost spark plug, and sandwiched behind the alternator/coil bracket. You'll probably have to scrape away some grease to see the numbers.
