and I am pretty happy. Made 3 passes total, best was 14:20@96. All moder, feetsbrakin', street tires, and exhaust in place. This thing really hauls from about 4000 on up. Shift light was set at 6200. This is the fastest the car has ever been on moder only. Next weekend we put the brake and a little naws to it. I am actually gonna try and tune it a little and get into Pro w/o the bottle. I have to run 13:99 or better. I gave it a little squirt at 75 horse yesterday. At 25mph in low gear it instantly lit the tires. |

Now that sounds like FUN! Red cars really are faster...... "I gave it a little squirt at 75 horse yesterday. At 25mph in low gear it instantly lit the tires." Bet made the attendant at the parkade take notice.... |

Gonna do a little tuning this week and try and get into Pro on motor Saturday. I "only" have to pick up 2 tenths or so to do it. Talked to Mike tonight and have clearance to spray away. 75 shot will be on board Sunday. I think that should get me pretty close to the 12's. You're right Sandy, red is faster. Good luck Charlie. I have major issues keeping one car going. |

I know that feeling.Good luck Charlie. I have major issues keeping one car going. I have been up to my arm pits with a motor swap and "plumbing work" on my drag car engine ever since I got home from the Las Vegas race. Looks like I have most of the hard work completed but I still need to bend a few hard lines and do some hook-ups. Carb and kick-down linkage is the next challenge. If all goes as planned, I will light-off my new combo next weekend. I hope to have everything going in time for Redding. Wish me luck...I am going to need it!
