im not a carb man or horsepower junkie but would be interested swapping my holley 1945 for a 1920. I want to stay 1 barrel for my 85' shorty ( im the kind of guy who would rather run a model A engine in a roadster than a flatty, sort of speak) love simple mechanics i guess. id like to find a good body that i can rebuild/learn on at leisure.there is no rush to pull the 1945 since its working fine for now.
What years did the 1920 span and is there any mounting issues with a van linkage or air cleaner?

If you are bound 'n' determined to have a 1920, you will have the least difficulty with a 1973 model.

You'd have even less difficulty, and probably better results, with a Carter BBS for a 1974 Dodge D100 pickup with 225 engine.

Finding either one in acceptably good build quality is a challenge nowtimes.

I hear you on the Carter, I just assume it would be much easier to track down a 1920? I dont know I live in your region (kitchener) and figure I wont find any near here anyways. Most were crushed years ago im sure but theres always EBAY. Thanks for pinning down the years, though, it'll be a good start.
