I have a large spring that apparently is used to hold the jack in place. I just can't figure out what it hooks to on the jack. Can someone send me a pic or two that shows how the jack, jack stand, and lug wrench stow away in Aaron's Dart Sport?

Thanks,
Jerry

Great job, Jeb (say that five times really fast).
Now I can see where the spring attaches. What holds down the lug wrench?

Thanks,
Jerry

The lug wrench should fit under the jack tube with the short end sticking up through the slot in the stowing bracket. The long end goes through the loop where the spring is attached, as shown in the picture.

So, what I see in the third picture is not quite correct? The lug wrench should not be off to the side of the jack tube?

I'll try it for a fit.
Thanks,
Jerry

Yeah, I just stuck the lugwrench in a place where it would be out of the way. It used to be under the front seat (don't ask why).

I see....
Well, I think I can figure it out from here.

Now, about the jack base holding the spare tire. Where does that large washer-looking thing go? Pics anyone?

Rember, I'm still trying to find a spare tire that will sit down into the well deep enough to allow my new spare cover and trunk mat to lie flat.

Jerry

I will take a pic tomorrow and show you where the jack base goes.
