| Post subject: | Forged Harmonic Balancer vs Cast Harmonic Balancer |
I just pulled the harmonic balancer from my '72 Duster (forged crank). It is completely different from my '80 (cast crank) harmonic balancer. I thought both engines were internally balanced. Why the difference? bwhitejr |

The cast crank is lighter than the forged crank by a couple lbs... I have heard there is no ill effect when using a late damper on an early motor other than you need the matching timing cover... -D.Idiot |
