Post subject:  Slow coolant leak into crankcase

Hello everyone,It's been a while since my last post. Well, I have finally completed my build and have about three hours run time. The car is not finished yet but engine is in and running. After draining the oil I noticed it was a little milky. My problem is a slow coolant leak at the oil stand pipe between the lifters at cyl. # 4. It is not filling up the lifter area, only dripping out of the drain back hole at the bottom with 16 psi. applied with a cooling system pressure pump. It drips a drop approx. every 15 to 20 seconds. Oil pan off and windage tray out. Rather than scrapping the block at this point, Has anyone used a block sealant called Blue Devil ?.If so, do you think this may work for my unlucky problem.

Thanks 63GT.

However much time and effort it takes to find and fix the problem, it will be considerably easier and less costly in the long run than fixing the damage caused by "sealers". Save yourself considerable long-term heartache and sorrow; fix it right!

.....or drop in a teeny bit of Aluma-seel and run it with your heater bypassed and use up some of your luck.....
