my 225 /6 in '85 dodge trk, is quite underpowered and giving me trouble.

is it possible to install a larger carb, is a 2bbl intake needed for this? also are there any other mods. that can be done, performance wise?

Yes, and you will need a 2-bbl manifold if you want to put on a larger carb. Best bet is a junkyard Super Six manifold.

which autos would have the super six manifold, and what 2bbl would be best to go with for power/fuel economy?

also, would it be possible to change the distributor from the electronic timing advance type to a distributor advance type?

edit: vacuum advance distributor from comp. controlled advance.
