:?: Putting 77 slant into a 64 Valiant. Changing to the 64 pan. Should I use silicone on the pan gaskets. If so, where and how much?
Dan?

Don't recommend gooping things up much with RTV silicone. You can use a little(!) at the "Bermuda triangle" area (right front corner) but use about half as much as you think you should and you'll still be using too much.

Be sure to use the '64 oil pickup pipe assembly, and if your car has an automatic trans, you'll need the 1/8" annular adaptor ring for the crank-to-torque-converter junction.

Thanks, Dan. I have already test fitted the gaskets. Those nipples are a bear! Got the adaptor and the old pickup. Installation will come next weekend.
