All right, I've decided to officially start the poly motor mount project discussed in this thread. My plan is to make ones that mount just like the stock ones but incorporate some features inside them that give them more shear resistance and make them a bit more fail-safe. First, I'll need to get dimensions for the stockers. Does anyone have a set of NOS ones that I can get measurements from, or technical drawings with the dimensions? If not, I'll see if I can order some repros - I don't want to measure my well-used mounts, in case they have sagged. |

I've got at least one NOS mount - I believe it's the driver's side. Might have the other side but would have to start digging through parts. |

I have got a pair of never run aftermarket mounts I bought for my 66 Cuda years ago that are still hanging off the engine ont he stand. I bought them at Napa. Would they help? |

Matt, I have a pair of new after market replacement mounts. I could bring them to Valdosta. Let me know. |

Not to be impatient; I just want to keep this alive. Any news on this front? Is there anything anyone else can do to help? |

Ah... now I remember THAT thread. I'll contact Imperial when I'm ready. I was hoping to put the motor in before 01/07 but I can use the old motor mounts to mock it up then put the new ones in when they're ready. |
