ok boy i got a little problem i got an 86 dodge with a 225/6 in it it did run good but now it will only run for about 2 or 3 min its lick the fuel pump is not working unless it wants to but i'm not sure thats why i'm asking all of you any suggestons would help [/b] |

mine kind of acted like that when we first bought it, it had been sitting, so it might not be the same thing, but it had a lot of junk in the fuel line, specifically in the pick up in the tank, fuel filter might also be to blame, when my fuel pump went out it was spewing gas out so it was pretty obviously messed up, i just put in an electric pump , its pretty easy, i did it in the parking lot of the danville rest area  so i dont know about diagnosing pumps
