After replacing the manifold gasket some time ago, I am having problems figuring out where everything went. I was not smart enough to take pictures because I had planned on putting it back together right away. Does anyone have any pictures of how the vacuum amplifier, throttle springs, throttle linkage bracket mounts and all the other stuff around there mounts? I have the linkages right its just the brackets kicking my rear. Its a '82 Diplomat with slant six. Thanks in advance.

The throttle springs run parallel to the firewall and hook to a little metal tab that shares a bolthole in the head with the ceramic choke resistor assembly. The vacuum amplifier also bolts into this rear hole and should have only one hose connecting to your carb.

There should be an underhood hose diagram on the bottom of your hood or on your fender explaining where all the other hoses go.

The throttle linkage will attach in one of two ways: (1) via a nut on the bottom of each of the two outboard intake to exhaust manifold bolts; or (2) by two bolts which go into the bottom of the holes the outboard intake to exhaust manifold bolts pass through. THe long kickdown rod goes to the lever on the side of the tranny and the short rod runs up to the carb.
