has any one tried running a holley 2300 off of the v8 six pack cars? i would think that you could use either the center one (350 cfm) or the outboard one (500 cfm) depending on how built the motor is. or is this the same as the super six 2bbl holley?would it even bolt on a 2bbl. intake? |

That would not be a wise choice of carburetor, for several reasons (calibration, linkage, etc.) There is no such a thing as "the Super-6 Holley". Super-6s never came with Holleys, only with Carters (Yes, I know you read the article. It's not correct.) There are much better carburetors you can pick from... |

The center carb is the only one you'd want to try. The 6bbl/6-Pak outboard carbs are vacuum only, don't have a proper metering block, power valve, accelerator pump or adjustable idle circuit. You'll also have to fab your own air cleaner unless one of the Corvette Tri Power air cleaners will fit. It would be much easier just to use a regular Holley 2300 with the round air cleaner base. |

Um...no. No, it isn't. What, um, made you think that it is?What are you hoping to gain by using this particular carburetor? |
