Does anyone know what the flow rating on a Holley-Webber 5220 is and how it compares to the factory Holley 1920 installed on a 1963 170 slant? I have been thinking about installing one of these carbs on my wifes 63 Dart 170 with 3 spd column shift trans.I have already increased the exaust to a mandrel bent 2 inch system and recurved an electronic dist. per Doug Dutras recommendations. The car runs well with the 3.23 rear but lacks a little on the top end and was thinking a staged two barrel like the 5220 would be good at both mileage and power plus I already have one in my possesion. I would use an aluminum super six intake with an adapter for a Jeep. Would a Carter bbd be better than the 5220 or does anyone have any suggestions other than this? As always ,thanks for any help. Most Holley 5220s are rated at 280 CFM- the same as the BBD. |
