Post subject:  Transmission Service - any recomendations SF Bay area

Hi

Can anyone recomend a good tranny shop in the SF Bay Area, pref East Bay

Seems like many of these tranny shops are crooks who just want to sell you a whole replacement tranny

this is for a 1967 slant with the stock auto trans (a 904 I think)

It's working fine and I want to keep it that way.

thanks

T

Thanks for the tip! I need to have my 904 checked out, too. Will head down to San Bruno soon.

On an unrelated note, I stopped by the car show at Sea Bowl (in Pacifica) last Sunday. There were a couple of nice slants, including a '66 Dart and a '67 'Cuda. The slant Cuda was a monster - according to the owner, it ran high 13s on nitrous (150 hp shot) with extensive mods including a custom destroked crank. Very nice vehicle.
