Been to a few car shows and lots of people say they have never seen a Barracuda with a slant. Is it that most /6s were pulled for v8s, or not many Barracudas came with /6s.

The slant was the base engine in Barracuda's through '72. Seen many A body Barracuda's with slants, only a few E body Barracuda's (and Challengers) with a slant. Sadly, your right about most people just dropping in a V8. How original, eh?

Once had a 70 Challenger with a slant 6, column shift 904, PS and AC. Sadly, ended up parting it out due to rotten frame rails as well as quarters, floors, etc. Could be restored now with all the aftermarket parts. Oh well.

My interest in slant sixes began in 1976 when a friend's dad had a 67 cuda with a slant, really wild cam, headers, REAL hyperpack intake and carb, 4 speed and 4.11 gears in an 8 3/4 suregrip....car would pull the front wheels with "cheater" slicks! It would outrun most every V-8 around in the 1/8th mile!
I played with chevys and fords for years, and now Mopars.
Once I started playin with slants, things have never been more fun ,EVER!

Many folks (espically Those in that Buy E bodies for profit) see the slant as a boat anchor.

I like the wheels on your cat. Where can I get the wheels and dog dish covers? I'd like to get rid of the Cragars. I am running small bolt circle. I ve got the factory steel wheels but their very thin, maybe 14x5. I don't thick think I could put my 205-70-14's on them.
