What is the curb weight of a 67 Nochback Barracuda? Also what 1/4 mile time should I expect from a stock setup or just the super six upgrade? One more thing. Does anyone know the CDA of this car? |

What kind of gears do yoou have? I turned a best of 19.17 with my Duster which ways 3300 pounds, has 2.76 gears, super six, 2 1/4 exhaust and every thing else stock. I am about to do distributor recurve which will hopefully get me into the 18's. Tell us some more specifics about your car in order to give you a more accurate estimate. Slant Cecil turned 18's in his bone stock 66 Valiant. |

It would not surprise me to see a stock notchback run mid 18's. 67 notches were pretty much the lightest 67-76 A body made. CDA is probably not that good with the big, flat grille and notch window. |

Yeah, I agree. You will probably see 17- 18 second times with a Supersix and a tweaked distributor. It might run that with a 1-barrel. Cecil did it with his Valiant. All depends on your state of tune. Make sure that your throttle blade is opening all the way. Most factory cars I have seen only open about 80% stock. May have to do some adjusting. |
