I am going to an entire new dash from Rocky Mountain dashes, and will put in an electronic speedo. Does anyone here know if the original pigtail that came with the Mustang 5 speed is a sending unit for an electonic speedo? Can I just plug it back in and expect it to send the needed info to the speedometer, or is there a computer in there somewhere? Keisler made me an adapter cable, and I linked the t-5 to the stock Mopar speedo. The pig tail that came with it has at least two wires and plugs right into the tailshaft housing where the mechanical cable now is installed. Any ideas? I am going to be bugging you guys about all kinds of gauge, and dash related things for awhile. This project is long term, and will likely not get done before the winter, but I am collecting the gauges and such now. Thanks. Sam |

I think the original pigtail is for reverse lights if I'm not mistaken. |

there should be 2 plugs, one on the tail where a speedo cable would go, and one on the case dont remember where though but that one is back-up lights |
