I have two questions, both about how different models relate... anyway... How does the Dart Sport compare to the Duster? Just curious about this... Is it all body stuff only? How does the SL6 from a early 80's truck differ from the one in my car which is a 73 225? I actually want to know this because I need a truck and just want to know what to look for or problem areas, or maybe what I'm getting myself into... thanks everybody |

The Dart Sport is just a Duster with Dodge Badging and the "Dart" nose clip bolted onto it (that's how Dodge made the demon to start with). Almost the same weight, same options, etc... The 80's Truck, will have more smog and electronic controls to it, and the slant will be of the hydraulic lifter variety (no popping the valve cover to adjust the lash during tune ups), if it's original to the truck. Otherwise you can swap one for the other, the Truck will be half a ton heavier than the Dart in any case. -D.Idiot |
