Is either a 4.30 or 4.56 ring and pinion available for the 741 casting 8.75 rear? Most of the deep ratios I spot are for the 489 casting.... |

The only aftermarket ratios I've seen for the 741 case are 3.55 and 3.73 at Randy's. |

You'll be a lot better off picking up a 489 3rd member. I got a 3.23 open one at a local self-serve yard for $50 recently. I just wish I could have found some 3.55s, but 3.23s are ok too and I didn't have 3.23s either. |
