I've had a super six/dutra dual setup for a while. It might be a little while before i take the engine out for a rebuild, and have the body work done, so i'm planning on putting them in next weekend.
So my question is: If i get a holley 2300 350 cfm carb and the mr gasket adapter #1937 adapter plate, does the standard super six kickdown linkage work?

I have been running a super six with a 500cfm 2300 for about 2 years. It is on my daily driven 73 Valiant. I am running the stock throttle cable and stock 1 barrel kickdown with no problems. Motor is stock internally, with Clifford shorty headers, dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. I am currently building up a .60 over slant to replace the stock piece.

Did you have to modify the stock kickdown at all to make it work? If not, that's great news.

No mods, just extended the rod all the way out, shift points are good - no problems. hope it works for you.
