I've had a super six/dutra dual setup for a while. It might be a little while before i take the engine out for a rebuild, and have the body work done, so i'm planning on putting them in next weekend. So my question is: If i get a holley 2300 350 cfm carb and the mr gasket adapter #1937 adapter plate, does the standard super six kickdown linkage work? Thanks, Jay |

I have been running a super six with a 500cfm 2300 for about 2 years. It is on my daily driven 73 Valiant. I am running the stock throttle cable and stock 1 barrel kickdown with no problems. Motor is stock internally, with Clifford shorty headers, dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. I am currently building up a .60 over slant to replace the stock piece. |

Bentsix, Did you have to modify the stock kickdown at all to make it work? If not, that's great news. Thanks |

No mods, just extended the rod all the way out, shift points are good - no problems. hope it works for you. |
